Our 25 cu. ft. Samsung French Door refrigerator with External Water & Ice Dispenser will provide plenty of space for all your food & drinks. The Ice Master, produces up to 10 lbs. of ice per day, which means you won’t need to make any special trips to the store to fill up your coolers.

If you run out of room in the main level fridge, we have another refrigerator located in the walk-out basement for additional food & drink storage. Please keep in mind, the water/ice-maker in the back-up fridge is not connected.

The Baratza Encore is known by coffee experts as an excellent ceramic burr grinder for those brewing coffee at home. The Encore gives a great grind for drip/manual brew and also grinds fine enough for espresso. There are 40 individual grind settings, from fine to coarse, the Encore can please any palate with its wide range of accurate and repeatable grind settings.

A large capacity slow cooker/crockpot is available for your use at The Chalet.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are covered with our Samsung gas stove. There is a removable griddle for the large oval burner, which is perfect for making pancakes or grilling sandwiches or veggies.

Whether you’re brewing up some tea for the evening, or hot cocoa after a day out in the snow, we’ve got you covered with this high capacity and fast heating teapot.

Whether you’re packing in your own meat, or grilling up your freshly caught fish from the lake, the new Char-Broil 4-burner Performance Series grill is great for grilling or indirect cooking at low temperatures.

We love good coffee, but the ritual of making great-tasting pour over coffee can be time consuming. We’ve outfitted the kitchen with this Specialty Coffee Association Approved “Pour Over Coffee Brewer” from Kitchenaid. This elegant auto drip coffee maker is designed to mimic the popular pour over coffee brewing method without spending the time to engage in the ritual.

If you want great-tasting, no-hassle coffee, you’ll love this the KitchenAid Pour Over coffee maker.

There are two microwaves in the home for your convenience. There is one in the main level kitchen (pictured), and another in the walk-out basement bar.

All of the rooms are outfitted with alternative down comforters. The microfiber shells are luxuriously soft and noiseless, and the hypoallergenic fill provides relief for those with allergies to goose down and feather bedding.

Each bathroom is supplied with William Roam toiletries. These products have been recognized for their superior quality by Men’s Health Magazine. 2oz Shampoo, 2oz Conditioner and Exfoliating Soap are included.

There are Coffee Stations located in the Master Bedroom (upper level), and 4th bedroom located in the Walk-Out Basement. Each of the stations include a Keurig K-Compact Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, Coffee, Sugar, Sweetener, Creamer, Cinnamon, Water, Coffee Mugs, and Stirring Sticks.

There is one extra throw blanket for each of the four bedrooms. In addition to these, there are several other blankets, which can be found in the various closets and common areas.

We provide 2 Luxury Cotton Towels for each guest (up to 14 guests total) for your use.

Each of the 4 Bedrooms is equipped with a Google Home Mini. You can use the device to listen to music, get weather reports, learn about the local area, etc. You can also send a broadcast message to the whole home letting everyone know it’s dinnertime. To activate the device, simply say, “Hey Google…”, ask your question, or give your command.

The Google Home is located in the Kitchen/Dining area, and can be used to listen to music, get weather reports, learn interesting information about the home, property and lake, etc. You can also dim the kitchen & living room lights with simple voice commands! Pandora & Spotify accounts are already set up, so all you need to do is summon Google by saying, “Hey Google, play ____ on Pandora” for hours of musical enjoyment.

The Nest Thermostat E helps us to conserve energy usage when no one is home. It’s also been synced with the Google Home, which means you can say, “Hey Google, Turn the Thermostat down to 68 degrees” without ever leaving the couch. It’s the little things like this, which will make your stay at Birchwood Cove Chalet a memorable and enjoyable experience!

The Chalet is outfitted with the August Smart Lock and keypad system. It is integrated with Airbnb, which means if you book your stay on that platform, you’ll be emailed a code, which will be valid throughout the duration of your stay.  You can also download the app for iPhone or Android, which will allow you to access the home from your Smartphone. The app will automatically sense when you’ve left the property and lock the doors behind you. When you return, the door will auto-unlock for you. No more fumbling around with keys!

We have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video at the home. However, if you’d like to stream content from your own accounts/devices, we’ve made that easy for you as well. Simply navigate to the HDMI 1 input, sync the Chromecast with your device, and stream away!

The Chalet has one 49″ Ultra HD (4k) LG Smart TV located in the main level living room. It offers over 130 channels provided by LG’s Content Network, and has been synced with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu with Live TV. We do not have regular cable TV, but there should be no lack of movies, live & on-demand TV shows, or sports. A Chromecast is also plugged into the back, which will allow you to stream your own content directly to the TV. If you have specific questions related to using the remote, or TV itself, the model is the LG 49SK8000 with Magic Remote.
